"When you open your mind and hands and heart to the knowing of a thing, there is no room in you for fear"

I am going to start filtering some of my more private musings. Since blogger does not have a tool for that, you will need to visit my Live Journal and ask to be friended there. I will continue to post Daily Gratitude and other subjects here.
There is also a FAQ for my Journal at the same link.

10:09 -- I'm at work. Things have been busy the last few months so I haven't done the "write longhand, type when you get home" thing. Today I have to cover the switchboard for 15 minutes. So nothing to do between calls, which are pretty slow.
I worked this switchboard for six months before getting an administrative assistant position. I may sometimes miss the ability to day dream for a few minutes, but I don't miss the tedium of the position. Esp. not since the job has expanded to include lots of data entry -- which drives me batty. I like having a variety of tasks to complete and my own discretion as to when/how to do them. I'm not thrilled with the mission of this organization. I have definite conflicts with some of their ideology. However, they do a lot to help peole and provide support and service to their followers.
I enjoy the workplace and the benefits and most of the people are relaxed and easy to be around. I can't see myself staying here forever, but a few years would be fine. More than fine. I'm not physically taxed nor mentally oppressed as I would be in many jobs. Not perfect, but pretty good. (10:20)
