"When you open your mind and hands and heart to the knowing of a thing, there is no room in you for fear"
--Patricia McKillip, The Riddle-Master of Hed |
I am going to start filtering some of my more private musings. Since blogger does not have a tool for that, you will need to visit my Live Journal and ask to be friended there. I will continue to post Daily Gratitude and other subjects here.
There is also a FAQ for my Journal at the same link.

j: how do You define love Ma'am?
j: as related to Owner/slave Ma'am
DM: love doesn't change definitions. it's always a connective energy. it is the fabric of the universe
DM: how much we trust someone determines how much we open ourselves up to feeling that energy
j: i see the fabric as the collective soul but maybe it's the same thing Ma'am
DM: the soul is love. love is the soul
DM: you can literally love anyone
DM: so why use it as a basis for a relationships?
j: i see Your point Ma'am
DM: I can base relationships on the sexual attraction, and those are fun
DM: I can base relationships on friendship and admiration
j: or common interests
DM: I can base them on infatuation and romantic passion
DM: none of those are going to give me true ownership. and I think I need to own in order to express my self
DM: if there is compatibility of intent and basic personality and morality. if there is an attraction, whether physical or mental, then the intimacy of ownership can be a very strong bond
DM: much stronger, in many ways, than romantic passion and "i'll love you forever" declarations
j: true dedication without qualifiers
j: yes Ma'am
j: i know what it feels like but don't know how to express it
DM: well, I haven't expressed the whole love-ownership thing as well as I just did
