| Sunday, June 29, 2003 @ 15:45 I have been formulating posts in my head recently about training, the leather community, gender identification, being called "johnnie's Daddy" and addressed as "Sir" by gay boys, meeting a slave who courtesies to "Master"s, and some other stuff that I really, really want to get to soon. but I just found out that Katherine Hepburn died. Even though I know she's been sick for a long time and lived a really full & incredible life....it hurts. She was such an important role model in my life --and in my boi's. ....It hurts to know she's no longer in this world...... she did so much for women in film and in the world -- simply by living life on her own terms instead of society's -- though I'm sure it was far from "simple" from her point of view.... one of the great actors, and people of the last century. eventually, it will sink in.....like losing a friend.....a part of myself....
