| Friday, November 14, 2003 @ 08:20 I'm very proud of boy. He spent the past 9 days finding his place as the alpha boy. I know it was difficult at first to juggle the mindset of slave to me and daddy/superviser to j. He learned to flow between boy and daddy space and to act as facilitator of communication between myself and j. All of this while suffering from ankle pain and emotional pain related to the anniversary of his mother's death and funeral. I have a lot more to say as I process what this 9 days meant to all three of us and how we will move forward, but I have day two of computer training ahead of me, so I can't spend time right now. I will say that j left for Denver early this morning. The plans are for her to return next week to finish the projects in the house and help boy. It's likely boy will be on crutches for weeks to come, so we can use the help. There's also a lot of guidance and support we can offer j. I guess all I can say at this point is stay tuned.
