"When you open your mind and hands and heart to the knowing of a thing, there is no room in you for fear"

I am going to start filtering some of my more private musings. Since blogger does not have a tool for that, you will need to visit my Live Journal and ask to be friended there. I will continue to post Daily Gratitude and other subjects here.
There is also a FAQ for my Journal at the same link.

I'm home for lunch. j has taken boy to his doctor appointment. I can't remember the last time I was alone in the apartment (cats & iguana aside).
technology update: j brought us a new dvd/vcr combo. boy spent yesterday getting it plugged into his elaborate system (two tvs, stereo, vcr, and the new component) and learning the new remote (now numbering four for the living room entertainment). I look forward to getting my hands on it once he's worked out all the bugs.
cleaning update: j arrived late Tuesday and got off to a good start cleaning yesterday and this morning. It was so wonderful to have the laundry just magically appear in the apartment, all clean and folded. And to walk into the house a little while ago and smell the wood cleaner that she used to dust. boy has more projects in line for her, but we're letting her have tonight off while we go meet with another M/s lesbian couple.
sister update: After being admitted to the hospital on Monday for tests to find out why she was losing blood, my sister either did or didn't have a mild stroke Tuesday afternoon. The doctors at the one hospital say "no" because nothing showed up on the CAT scan. The doctors at the university hospital she transferred to yesterday say "yes" --just based on her symptoms. Today they are doing an MRI on her brain, some kind of test in her neck, and another test on her heart. Maybe we'll know something tomorrow. Meanwhile, she can't move her left leg or right arm (or feel them) and still has dangerously low potassium levels and an enlarged liver (which the doctors at the first hospital knew, but didn't bother to mention to her!).
There's tons going on in my head right now. Regarding boy's health (besides seeing his doctor about the sprained ankle today, he's *finally* seeing a specialist for his hands on Monday), our M/s interaction, my need for SM & sex even though my body is resisting, my sister's pending death, dealing with a third person in our household (a boi who pre-dates boy), stress with work, and still fighting off this cold. I just can't get a handle on it to share with this journal.
I told boy last night I actually found myself composing what I would say at my sister's memorial/funeral....which she probably wouldn't want me to do in the first place.
I just have to figure out what to do about all these things and then do it. Right now, however, I need to get back to work.
