"When you open your mind and hands and heart to the knowing of a thing, there is no room in you for fear"

I am going to start filtering some of my more private musings. Since blogger does not have a tool for that, you will need to visit my Live Journal and ask to be friended there. I will continue to post Daily Gratitude and other subjects here.
There is also a FAQ for my Journal at the same link.

I read about two sentences of Archangel and then a friend lent me her copies of the Beauty Trilogy. I'd avoided reading these for years, after hearing so many negative comments about the "fantasy" slavery. I've finished the first two The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty and Beauty's Punishment. I liked the second more than the first, but the third isn't calling me to rush and read it. *shrugs* We'll see. I'll wait til I'm done with the whole triology to formulate any further thoughts.
boy's ankle is healing and his energy level is rising. He's been able to run more errands, resume care of the kitchen, and is beginning to look for a job. He's also started experimenting with new recipes involving tofu and tempeh and is looking to expand to seitan as well. It's all part of our "eating healthier" plan that we started back in December -- well, we really started it last fall and have been slowly expanding. We just accelerated our progress the last two weeks.
This weekend he has a sleep over with PBoL (Phoenix Boys of Leather) Friday night and we have a MAsT meeting on Sunday on Values & Intent. Monday I have a holiday so we'll probably find something nice to do together. I plan to resume chaining him to the bed at night in the next few days, now that his ankle is well enough.
