sick boy
| Friday, January 09, 2004 @ 07:36 After fighting off the blahs all week, boy came down sick last night -- right before the annual meeting for Phoenix Boys of Leather. So he missed it. And he spent the night on the sofa so as not to further expose me to whatever he has. We're hoping it's some sort of cold, but with the aches he's describing, it could be the flu. He's spending the day on the sofa sleeping and watching tv --drinking hot tea and downing echinacea. I think I'll take some echinacea myself. We signed our renewal lease last night. We really like this complex and are looking forward to being here for another year or two while we get our finances under control. With boy unempolyed for over a year, it's been hard. We are building a home that we both love and that seems good for our cats and the iguana as well. Now that we've finally got the dining table, all we need is some good lighting and to get artwork up on the walls. Of course, we'd also like a bigger tv, a microwave, a new scanner....but we've been here a year next weekend without all those things and we're happy. Time to head for work and hope the boy gets better.
