internet woes and weekend plans
| Sunday, May 23, 2004 @ 16:53 I'm not sure if anyone has noticed, but our web server has been spotty for the last month or so. It's hit or miss whether our web sites and e-mail will be accessible. Apparently they are down again right now. *sigh*. This server was very reliable and kink-friendly when I first started using them two years ago. Now with all this downtime, I'm starting to wonder. I know I have to do some serious thinking over the next month whether or not my online presence warrants two separate websites and how to continue paying for it--esp. if this server continues to be inconsistent. I decided that we are going to take a quick trip to LA next weekend. I usually hate traveling on holiday weekends, but boy needs the Big Water and it would be nice to spend some time with his relatives. (The only time I've had a chance to meet them was at his mother's funeral.) And with the way work has been, I may be insane by next Friday and need to get away. We're hoping to get together with some people in the leather community there that we've gotten to know through their visits here. I'm sure it will be an enjoyable, if very brief, visit. I just have to be very careful about money these next few weeks until boy's hands are healed enough for him to get some cheffing shifts.
