another week, another visit
| Sunday, June 20, 2004 @ 22:01 It's been an interesting weekend. Of course, lately every weekend seems to be interesting, for varied reasons. I spent the day waiting for boy to wipe and reconfigure my hard drive, which left me with little online time and explains why I'm posting this so late. It was a necessary task, and he's doing the best he can, esp. given the late start. With any luck it will all be operational and functioning better than ever by tomorrow night. Several times throughout the day I thought of things I wanted to write. Sitting here now, I can't remember a single one of them. It's a shame, too, because I think a few of them were important issues I wanted to discuss. Maybe next time I'll remember to write them down when the thought occurs. The next two days will be busy with housecleaning. When I get home from work on Wednesday, Mistress Blair and puppy will be here for their visit. Unfortunately I couldn't get time off from work, so I won't be able to spend the days with them. I am, however, looking forward to some quality interaction in the evenings. And Friday we are hosting a party for them. As of now it looks like we'll have at least 20 people (including ourselves) in our little apartment. I don't know what we'll do if more rsvps come in as "yes." At least they are all "cool people" so it won't be bad to be packed in tightly. I don't know if I'll be able to get a post in before or during the visit, but I'll try. (Has anyone even noticed that I've been trying to maintain a Sunday & Thursday posting schedule for weeks now?) There is certainly a lot going on in my mind that I could write about...and I'll try to jot down notes as they occur so I don't forget before the next post.
