| Thursday, July 08, 2004 @ 21:11 Not feeling very well at the moment. I slipped in the bathroom at work this afternoon and wrenched my ankle and hit the door with my shin and possibly hit my head. I don't remember hitting my head, and I don't have a bump or a sore spot, but my head has been "off" ever since. I don't think this headache is the same as the headaches I've been having all week. So either I bumped it or just the physical jar to my whole body has made it icky. On the positive side, I gave in and called the doctor for an appointment this morning. I have been having ankle pain and swelling for about a month. I've had ankle problems for years and figured it was just the weather or that I had twisted it a bit, but I know it was worrying boy. Hell, even I didn't like the way it swells some nights. So I have an appt for next Wednesday morning. (the odd thing is that since I wrenched it this afternoon, the ankle actually hurts *less*! go figure.) right now I just want to vegetate and then sleep. This getting up 30 mins earlier has really thrown my energy off. I'm getting too old to change my sleep patterns. I wonder what's going to happen when the Tour hits the mountains next week and I'm getting up before 4am??
