| Saturday, July 03, 2004 @ 11:19 It's that time of a year again. In a few weeks I have to renew my domain registrations or they will be released. Now, domain registrations aren't that expensive and neither is monthly web hosting. However, if I dropped just one of the two domains, I would save over $70 a year in internet-related costs. That's enough to buy several books, attend a couple of dungeon parties, or even buy one or two of the DVDs we want. Or, maybe pay for something important like food or doctor co-pays. Anyone who reads boy's journal knows that money continues to be tight for us while he searches for a job in what is the slowest season for his industry. It's a serious consideration. So, those of you who read or reference my sites: what is your opinion? Should I drop DM's Realm or Unsuspected Depth or both? (Note: this journal will continue regardless of my decision on the domains; however, archiving may be affected by my decision.) I could easily consolidate one website as a section of the other, I just don't know which. Given that neither site gets much traffic, I wonder at keeping either. Then again, I really hate to think that someone else out there would be able to take use the domains once I dropped them. So I am truly in a quandry and welcome any suggestions. Then again, if you'd like to make a donation to ensure that both sites continue (and continue to grow), e-mail the same address asking for contact info and I'll give you a PO Box where you can send a money order. Feedback is requested, but cash is welcome. I'll write a bit more later or tomorrow about our visitors last week and/or the trial service agreement we have started with a local submissive woman. I just wanted to get my request out there so the actual consumers of my sites can have a voice in deciding the future of my web presence.
