boy's job search

Last week, boy went to put in an application at an Italian restaurant and was told the position was already filled (they had been overwhelmed with the number of apps put in and had quickly filled the position(s) even though the ad was only 2 days old). This week, boy put in an application with one of the better hotels in the region and has been called back for a first interview. he also heard back from a country club that he contacted before we moved; they have an opening as well and would like to interview him. The hotel will more likely pay more (according to his research of the market here) and might offer benefits. It will also challenge him more than the country club (since he's done that type of work in the past). If anyone can send some positive energy/prayer/good wishes his way at 3:30 this afternoon (2:30 Arizona time), that will help him with the hotel interview. We'll let you know as soon as he gets a specific time for the country club interview. On a side note: perhaps due to excitement over the two job possibilities, boy made the most amazing apple pie in the universe last night -- and he's made some great pies in the past. This was just unbelievable.
