preparations
| Sunday, June 18, 2006 @ 10:50 I am in the midst of preparations for my transformation rite/rebirth. I have received words of encouragement and support from a variety of friends. boy has been a steadfast supporter and guide. Purchases have been made, research initiated, and steps identified and taken as needed. I have even found synchronous support in unexpected places. New ideas abound and I am preparing not just for the rite, but for what comes next in my journey. It is scary. It is exciting. Yet, there is peace in the core of mysElf as I know this is the proper time and place for this step. This evening we are going camping. For those that know me, it's quite unbelievable -- and it was my suggestion. There is, after all, a tradition of going into the wilderness prior to a major event. So tonight and tomorrow will be spent at a state park/lake. I will spend time with nature and quiet. I will help boy with his long-planned ritual of releasing aspects of his past and may release a few things of my own in fire. This will prepare him for the role he has going forward as well as help ground me for Tuesday's rite. Monday evening, probably while we are still at the lake, I will begin a 24-hour fast in anticipation of my rite. Tuesday there will be other steps during the day leading up to the rite itsElf. The goal time is between 7pm and 8pm CDT on Tuesday. If circumstances change, I'll post something on Tuesday with a new time. I won't post a gratitude tomorrow, as we'll be in the wilderness. I'm not sure if there will be a post on Tuesday, other than to report any changes in the timing of the rite. I may not post here again until it is concluded. walk in peace & love.
