August 13th gratitude

Today I especially express gratitude
  1. that I fell asleep listening to wind
  2. that I woke up to a sudden thunder storm
  3. that there were rabbits out in the post-rain dawn
  4. that boy has many leads for jobs in Arizona
  5. that I can watch the sun rising behind clouds

and recognize that I am grateful for so much more.
