Goals from Day 10:- Finish the chapter from last night -- MET
- Write two more chapters -- NOT MET
- Word count goal is 2500 -- NOT MET -- My verified word count for yesterday is 516.
- Extra Credit -- 1000 extra words for a total of 3500 -- NOT MET -- see above
- Verified Word Count to date -- 10817
- Comments: I was able to write on my lunch break for the first time. When I got home from work there was an e-mail from my FOO filled with medical concerns and financial warnings. It pretty much ruined my ability to function for the rest of the day. I did get my stuff from lunch typed into my working file. And I made sure I have backed up my novel and even e-mailed it to mysElf at a hotmail account for safe keeping. I need to remember to do that every few days. I don't think I like writing long-hand and then transcribing. Besides my handwriting being so difficult to read, it gives both my IE and IC the opportunity to review what was already committed to the page. I'm not sure I'll be doing that again if I can avoid it.
Goals for Day 10:- Write the chapter where one of the secondary characters dies, even though it's out of sequence
- Write about the dropped character
- Word count goal is 5000
- EC goal is 1000 extra words for a total of 6000.
